PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man fell onto the SEPTA tracks and was killed by an oncoming train on Wednesday, and police say the accident was caught on surveillance video.
The fall happened in South Philadelphia at the Tasker-Morris Station around 7 p.m.
Authorities say the man can be seen stumbling and falling onto the tracks as the train approaches the station.
SEPTA service was briefly disrupted on the Broad Street line between Walnut-Locust Station and the AT&T Station. Trains have now resumed and are operating on a single track, bypassing the Tasker-Morris Station. Riders on the Broad Street line may experience some delays.
Police are investigating the incident.
